The Royal Institute of Public Health has approved Barceidillo as one of their Assessment Centre enabling us to deliver the RIPH’s newest qualification, Level 2 Understanding Health Improvement.

The qualification in raising awareness of health and wellbeing enables individuals to “signpost” others to interventions and services to support them in choosing and adopting healthier lifestyles.

Understanding Health Improvement supports employers with their “staff health and wellbeing in the workplace” strategy, by equipping employees with basic health advice and methods of support.

From September Barceidillo will be able to come on site and deliver the  qualification to anyone with an interest and passion for health promotion. The training course consists of 8-10 guided learning hours followed by an assessment.

Understanding Health Improvement has been used by employers of different types and sizes to recognise and reward workplace Health Champions, as it gives staff a nationally accredited health signposting qualification.
