In April Barceidillo were invited to exhibit at the Mindful Employer Conference in the Floral Pavilion, Wirral where Denise was delighted to be introduced to Dame Carol Black, the government minister responsible for conducting the recent review of the health of Britain’s working age population.

Dame Carol Black was very interested to learn about the variety of workplace health initiatives we have been delivering to employers both local and national over the past two and a half years. She was also intrigued by the Barceidillo name and its origin! The Mindful Employer initiative is aimed at increasing awareness of mental health at work and providing support for businesses in recruiting and retaining staff.

Mindful Employer is led by employers and is for employers. It’s about increasing awareness of mental health, helping businesses deliver, provide support networks and information, and making it healthier to talk about mental health.
